1. Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information.

 

Information you provide us directly:

• Your name, email address, and any other information you may submit to us via email or any other page on the Service.
• Communications between you and Holmatro. For example, we may send you Service-related emails (e.g., changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices).

 

Log file information:

• Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you make a request to access (i.e., visit) a web page or app. It can also be provided when the content of the webpage or app is downloaded to your browser or device.
• When you use our Service, our servers automatically record certain log file information, including your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information. We may also collect similar information from emails sent to our Users which then help us track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to help keep the information collected through the Service secure. However, Holmatro cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to Holmatro or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes to the social media services you use to connect to Holmatro. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization that Holmatro does not own or control.

Your account information and profile/privacy settings:

• Update your email communications preferences at any time by clicking on the link in any marketing communication you receive from us and changing your profile settings.
• Unsubscribe from email communications from us by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” provided in such communications. As noted above, you may not be able opt out of Service-related communications (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing confirmations and reminders, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices).

 

How long we keep your User Content:

• Following termination or deactivation of your account, Holmatro or its Service Providers may retain information (including your profile information) and User Content for as long as necessary to fulfill the business purpose it was collected for and for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes. We will also retain and use your User Content for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Your California privacy rights

Holmatro does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, whether that signal is received on a computer or on a mobile device. Third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across sites when you use the Service.

 

If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. GDPR Statement

Holmatro complies with the GDPR principles regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries (including Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) and Switzerland transferred to the United States. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and data subject rights under GDPR Principles, the GDPR Principles shall govern.

This GDPR Statement outlines our general policy and practices for implementing the GDPR Principles, including the types of information we gather, how we use it and the notice and choice affected individuals have regarding our use of and their ability to correct that information.

Whenever Holmatro collects Personal Data directly from individuals, Holmatro complies with the following Principles:

For Sensitive Personal Information, our Company will give individuals the opportunity to affirmatively or explicitly (opt in) consent to the disclosure of the information to a third party or for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. Our Company shall treat Sensitive Personal Information received from an individual the same as the individual would treat and identify it as Sensitive Personal Information. Agents, technology vendors and/or contractors of Holmatro may have access to an individual’s Personal Data on a need to know basis for the purpose of performing services on behalf of Holmatro or providing or enabling elements of the services. All such agents, technology vendors and contractors who have access to such information are contractually required to keep the information confidential and not use it for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for Holmatro or as otherwise required by law.

Prior to disclosing Personal Data to a third party, we shall notify the individual of such disclosure and allow the individual the choice (opt out) of such disclosure. Our Company shall ensure that any third party to which Personal Data may be disclosed subscribes to the Principles or is subject to laws providing the same level of privacy protection as is required by the Principles and agrees in writing to provide an adequate level of privacy protection.
                  4. Data Security. We shall take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Human Resources Data. If your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed by Holmatro, and your inquiry or complaint involves human resource data, you may have your complaint considered by an independent recourse mechanism in Europe: for EU/EEA Data Subjects, a panel established by the EU data protection authorities (“DPA Panel”), and for Swiss Data Subjects, the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (“FDPIC”). To do so, you should contact the state or national data protection or labor authority in the jurisdiction where you work. Holmatro agrees to cooperate with the relevant national DPAs and to comply with the decisions of the DPA Panel and the FDPIC. The services of EU DPAs are provided at no cost to you.
